About Aurosoorya

Pravir Malik – Founder and Executive Director, has fifteen years of experience in the areas of creativity & innovation, leadership development, strategic business planning, marketing planning, business process reengineering and improvement, change management, and information technology planning & development. He has assisted corporations from all parts of the world, such as Hitachi, Cargill, The Thomson Group, Bechtel, Sprint, Oracle, Shell, A.C. Nielsen, Walgreens, Visa, Motorola, 21st Century Insurance, International Paper, Philip Morris, Merck, General Electric, Disney, Aravind Eye Care System, Ashok Leyland, Asea Brown Boveri, Satyam, and Templeton Investments, amongst others.

R. Y. Deshpande – Member, Management Team, is a professor of Physics and the Associate Editor of Mother India, at Sri Aurobindo Ashram in Pondicherry, India. Prior to that he has been a Research Physicist at Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Bombay, Bhabha Atomic Research Center, Bombay, and Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory, Berkeley. He has headed a number of Atomic Energy and Space Projects in Advance Technology. He is also the author of at least 50 scientific research papers in professional journals, and numerous books in poetry, prose, and edited prose.

Arnab B. Chowdhury – Senior Analyst, has eight years of experience in the areas of project management, product design and development, marketing and media planning, multimedia technology and content development, software engineering, digital music technology research, and music composition and criticism. He has led and participated in research and commercial projects for established organizations including MIT Media Lab, IBM, Analog Devices, NEC, Toshiba, Denon, Taito, Infosys Technologies, Nexus Equity, the French Institute of Pondicherry and nurtured startups including Mistral Solutions, themusicmagazine.com and Ninad Consultancy Services.

Pankaj Gupta – Programmer, has over six years of project leadership and commercial software design and development experience. These include 2+ years of Client/Server Application development using VB and MS SQL, 2+ years of Object-Oriented software development experience using C/C++, and extensive Internet based software development experience using various technologies including Java, PHP, ASP, ASP.NET, IIS, Apache and MySQL. His clientele include Elf Gas, H45 Technologies, QuickPad Technologies and Actus Technologies, among others.


Neha Trivedi – Analyst, has an MS in Applied Maths. She has been a teacher, instructor, and visiting faculty for various institutions in Gujarat and has been active with the student population. She has been involved in Aurosoorya projects for a few years, and will be working primarily with rolling out Aurosoorya products to the youth in Gujarat, India.
